Kristin Snyder has been an avid runner for more than 15 years, competing in everything from 5Ks to half marathons, full marathons, 25Ks, 50Ks, and even a 50-mile Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim challenge. She has qualified for the Boston Marathon three times and has competed there twice.
Kristin’s countless hours on the road and trail have given her the experience and discipline to design detailed, achievable training plans and the perseverance to see them through. She knows what it takes to set ambitious goals and break them down into actionable steps.
At CASC, Kristin will bring that same passion and determination to inspire runners—helping them aim high, commit to the daily work, and celebrate the results that consistent training delivers.
Kristin has earned her Bachelors in Education from NSU and has earned her Masters in School Counseling from ECU. She spent the first 10 years of her career teaching in Poteau Public Schools. She has spent the last several years teaching psychology and sociology classes on the Carl Albert campus. She loves to inspire her students to see the physical and psychological health that can come from a good steady cardio workout on a consistent basis. Running can create endorphins, improve your mood, increase your memory, improve neurogenesis, and it can even be a great therapy tool.
