Hello, my name is Kala Gibbins, and I am from Vian, Oklahoma. My major is general studies. Throughout high school, I was a part of fastpitch, slowpitch, basketball, and track.I was rewarded for Big 8 All District Pitcher of the year, 2022-2024. All conference Pitcher of the year, 2023-2024. Defensive Player of the Year, 2024 and All- Tournament team for basketball, 2025.  On top of athletics, I was also Valdictorian, FFA secretary, Student council Representative, and a member of National Honors Society, FCA and Vian bookclub. My parents, sister, and multiple coaches have helped bring me to where I am today. My parents poured so much time and effort into getting me to lessons, practice, and tournaments. My sister was always willing to help me through rough patches. My coaches helped me learn what my leadership role was in any team setting. My favorite quote is, “ I do not, and will not fear tomorrow, because I feel as though today has been enough.” by Zach Bryan. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and thrifting. I really enjoy the movie,  Stand by Me. My favorite color is green and my favorite season is fall.
