CASC Softball Split with NPC

Game 1: CASC 6, NPC 3

Carl Albert State College took the lead late in the game in a 6-3 victory over National Park College on Friday. The Lady Vikings got things moving in the second inning when Sydnie Womack singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. The game was then tied at three with CASC batting in the bottom of the sixth when Jayda Harris singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

  • Elisha Stilwell led things off on the flat circle for Carl Albert State College as the righthander lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and three runs while striking out four and walking one. Taylor Carroll fininshed the game going one and one-thirds innings only allowing one hit and stiking out one.
  • The Lady Vikings collected nine hits and Rheding Wagoner, Unique Robinson, and Stilwell each collected two hits to lead the team. Jayda Harris and Robinson led the team with 2 RBI's each.

 Game2: NPC 11, CASC 3

Carl Albert State College fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-3 loss to National Park College on Friday. 

  • Jacee Nunley toed the rubber for CASC and Taylor Carroll threw the final four and two-thirds innings in relief and only alloewd 3 runs on 6 hits.
  • Sydnie Womack homered in the second inning and went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Lady Vikings. 
  • Womack and Unique Robinson led the team with 1 RBI each.
