CASC Softball Split with UARM

Game 1: CASC 11, UARM 3

Carl Albert State College stole the lead late in the game in an 11-3 victory over UA Rich Mountain on Monday in Game 1. Jayda Harris had a four bagger in the first inning and then the game was tied at two with CASC batting in the bottom of the fourth when Rheding Wagoner hit grand slam on a 0-1 count. The Lady Vikings notched four runs in the fifth inning with singles by Sydnie Womack and Wagoner and a double by Lindsey Edwards. 

  • Elisha Stilwell earned the victory in the circle for Carl Albert State College.
  • Wagoner led CASC to victory by driving in five runs.
  • Edwards, Womack, and Wagoner each collected two hits to lead the Lady Vikings.

Game 2: UARM 8, CASC 1

Carl Albert State College watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 8-1 loss to Rich Mountain Bucks Varsity on Monday. 

  • Jayda Harris went deep in the third inning and went 2-2 from the plate to lead CASC.
