Debuty Collects Four Hits As CASC Baseball Defeats Redlands CC

Game#1: CASC 14, Redlands CC 7

Dylan DeButy gave Redlands CC fits, as he bagged four hits in Carl Albert State College's 14-7 victory on Thursday in Game #1. Both offenses were strong at the plate as CASC collected 13 hits and RCC ten in the high-scoring affair. The Vikings fired up the offense in the first inning, when Breck Burris hit a solo homer then the team put up five runs in the fifth inning led by Burris, DeButy, and Brenden Poindexter, all driving in runs in the frame. Turbeville went yard in the sixth inning.

  • Riley Lowry got the win for CASC going five innings, allowing five runs on six hits, striking out seven and walking one. Ethan Trivitt, Carson Payne, and Chase Dunn all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
  • Dylan Clark, Burris, Turbeville, and Daylan Whitley each racked up multiple hits for the Vikings and DeButy led the team with four hits in five at bats.
  • Burris, DeButy, and Turbeville led the team with 4 RBI's each.
